Lasagna II Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 cup butter

1 (8 ounce) package lasagna noodles

4 fresh tomatoes - peeled, seeded, and chopped

1 (14 ounce) can tomato juice

1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste

1 (8 ounce) jar pasta sauce

1 (16 ounce) jar pasta

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, over easy simmer, add the chopped beef and cook until evenly browned. Drain fat and set meat aside.

Add parmesan cheese and butter to the meat mixture along with lasagna noodles and tomatoes. Sprinkle pasta with tomato paste and tomatoes. Mix together and pour into prepared baking dish. {Note: Coat the noodles and tomatoes with tomato sauce before serving.}

Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bakean additional 6 minutes.

Spoon sauce over lasagna and sprinkle top with pasta.
