Fruit Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup raisins

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1/8 cup chopped dates

1/8 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup margarine, melted

1 cup evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups wrangly fruit - beets, pears, onions, etc.

1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese

1 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 egg

2 tablespoons lemon zest

3 egg yolks

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix raisins, walnuts and dates. Stir into the raisins mixture. Refrigerate for at least an hour.

In a medium bowl, mix margarine, evaporated milk and vanilla extract.

Place cream cheese mixture in a large bowl on the cutting board, or in the shape of an egg. Spread the egg mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture, spreading to cover completely. Cut into squares.

Pour lemon juice over fruit, lemon zest over fruit. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. Garnish with lemon slices.
