3 3/4 cups dry cornmeal
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup dry mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 tablespoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a large bowl.
In a large bowl, stir together cornmeal, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, oregano, black pepper, parsley, lemon zest, and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly. pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Place in the oven and heat for another 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
