Pasta Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried sage

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

2 (14 ounce) cans tomato sauce

1/2 pound spaghetti sauce

1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste

1 pint heavy cream

Directions

Preheat oven broiler.

In a medium saucepan, brown beef with basil, oregano and sage. Drain fat. mix garlic, oregano, salt, thyme and basil into beef fat. Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce; cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add spaghetti sauce and tomato paste. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until spaghetti sauce is tender; stir. Serve meatballs covered in sauce with tomato sauce.

Return meatballs to sauce and toss. Spoon tomato sauce over meatballs. Garnish with tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce.

Broil meatballs in preheated oven about 30 minutes, turning once.
