Hot Dogs Recipe

Ingredients

2 patties, raw

2 patties, minced

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon molasses

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions

Preheat grill for high heat.

Put hot dogs in a large pot with enough water to cover well. Cover pot with aluminum foil (the foil prevents sticking) and cook 2 1/2 hours, turning over, until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (80 degrees C). Remove of foil and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before grilling. Remove the hot dog from the pot.

Slice the patties open and remove the grease and oil. Brush each opened pattie with the ketchup and brown sugar. Serve hot and cut the skin off of the dogs.
