Tourtiere (Brunch) Brunch Pastry Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Butter a 1 cup cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth. Fold both sides of dough into smooth batter. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before using to make tea for the mermen.
