1 cup brownie mix
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup margarine, melted
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the brownie mix and butter. Beat in the egg and shortening until well blended. Stir in the brownie mixture and sugar. Fold in the oats.
Pour into prepared baking dish. Top with the vanilla extract.
Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
