1 (1 pound) whole chicken
1 small onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, peeled, divided
2 tablespoons dried sage
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 whole tomatoes, chopped
1 (12 fluid ounce) can condensed tomato soup
In an slow cooker, place the whole chicken, onion, garlic and sage and mix well. Place remaining ingredients in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Cover with water, and set to cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Boil chicken, turning occasionally, until no longer pink. Drain off juices, and season to taste with salt, pepper, and seasoning blend.
