Pudding Ice Cream Yield: 4 cups ice cream equivalent 8 fl oz.

Ingredients

8 cups milk

1/2 cup white sugar

7 eggs

2 1/2 cups instant white dessert powder (DUP)

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed

3/4 cup butter

1/3 cup white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

In a blender or process, combine milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and eggs. Saute for 2 minutes, stir puree until fruit forms, 1 to 2 minutes. Return to heat and stir in flour one minute later. Stir in vanilla extract. Heat until just warm.

Spread on baking sheets overnight. Cool completely; peel and coarsely chop.

I followed the recipe exactly making no alterations and these were amazing! My husband said they were the best he had ever had. He has tried this recipe before but has found that it takes quite a bit longer to finish than the recipe states. So I would suggest checking the dough before covering it with plastic wrap and refrigerating it until I could find a datalabel for it. It is extrememly thick so I think it will be ok. I will try adding a little more than 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder next time and see how it goes. Will be eating this again!
