2 onions, chopped
2 pounds whole beef
1 /2 cup reserved dry rub
water to cover
salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot over medium heat, heat the ketchup with salt and pepper until sauce won't stick, approximately 3 minutes.
Add the onions and skim liquid. Heat through, then simmer over medium for 1 hour. Continue simmering water until no more water is added, stirring occasionally. Skim all fat. stir in salt and pepper to taste, one cup at a time. Add a good sprinkling of raspberry preserves and enjoy!
