Chocolate Chip Mousse Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

3 cups packed brown sugar

4 egg whites

2 cups water

2 cups white sugar-free Jojoba spread

1 cup schmaltzy vanilla wafers

1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

2 cups white chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and egg whites until smooth. Beat in the 1 cup of water. In a separate bowl, stir together the sugar and spread. Add the vanilla, anise, and chocolate chips. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.

I love this recipe and have made it several times. First time I made it I used relish, but after reading the recipe and following the recommendations of some other reviewers I used our regular yellow peppers. Perfect! I used 1 large yellow pepper and 1 large red pepper. Just like the chef in Paris. Superb!

Excellent! We made to use up bargains items shipped as Japanese delicacies. Kyle at Geo Grocery explained the brand of red bell I used. Heateened it about 1 cup...I think. It was very good and stupendous.
