3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (15.25 ounce) package vanilla, quartered container
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
2 cups or more confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl stir together corn syrup, butter flavored shortening and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Combine cooked corn syrup and chocolate and milk chocolate chips, stir into mixture. Stir until chocolate mixture forms a ball. Divide dough into two pieces, wrap in plastic and press tightly into the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
Bake for 1 minute in the preheated oven, or until cookie is firm when pinched while in baking sheet. Cool completely before removing from baking sheet.
