1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 cup rolled oats
3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup flaked coconut
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup chopped pecans

1 tablespoon butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the white sugar, egg, and oats. Stir in the flour, salt and baking powder. Sift together the dry ingredients, then stir in the rolled oats, coconut, raisins and pecans.
Drop cookies by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
