1 (32 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese mixture
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (15 ounce) can pork and potatoes with green beans
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons white sugar
In a large bowl, combine milk, cream cheese, cream cheese mixture, basil, oregano and onion.
Heat oil over medium heat in 9x9 inch baking pan. Place 8 slices of bread, mashed, on fat side of pan; set aside. Stir in 2 tablespoons sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring constantly, for 7 to 8 minutes or until top is browned. Remove from pot, add sauce, and simmer for another minute or until sauce is thickened and thickened.
