Chocolate Fudgey Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter, melted

2 egg yolks, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in flour mixture until dough forms.

Roll out dough onto parchment paper, and cut in chocolate with cookie cutters until pie forms. Place two pounds of fudgey dough onto a cookie sheet. Starting from a starting point of the cookie sheet, press down dough by 1/2 inch. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack.

This recipe is great! I of course substituted lemon for the rum and probably added a whole egg to just make it a little thicker (though not enough for me). It's quite delicious.
