1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan. Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl. Beat vigorously on medium speed until smooth, stirring constantly. Stir in eggs and oil. Gradually stir in rum mixture to achieve a smooth consistency. Stir in vanilla extract, and pour into prepared pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
