2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 (16 ounce) cans packed brown sugar
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) bottle tomato sauce
4 cups rolled oats
1 cup dried mixed fruit
1/2 cup ice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and sugar until smooth. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and tomato sauce. Stir together the oats and dried fruit, salt and pepper.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, mix together the rolled oats and dried fruit; pour into a 9x13 inch baking pan and sprinkle with cornmeal.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until browned. Cool completely before serving.
