4 slices bacon
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup white wine
Cut a slit through the bacon at both ends and remove the seeds and membrane.
Lightly grease an 8x8 inch dish or casserole dish. Melt the remaining bacon grease in a small saucepan over medium heat; raise heat until grease is slightly thickened. Pour in milk and wine until desired consistency is reached.
Serve on rolls or serve on the lettuce, if desired.
