1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cake
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (9 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 eggs, beaten
1 (21 ounce) can fruit cocktail - cherry, apricot and raspberry flavored cocktail mix
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup fresh water
1 (8 ounce) can frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and whipped topping. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in fruit cocktail mix. Blend in butter, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan.
Pour water into pan; cover, and bake in preheated oven for 18 minutes. Cool, swirl, and cut into bars. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Garnish with vanilla extract.
