Pralines Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup wheat flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift the flour and salt together, and set aside. In a large bowl, stir together the brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until just moist. If necessary, add more flour or milk, continuing to beat until well mixed. Stir in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookie is lightly browned. Prepare cookies using the directions on the box, except for the couple of optional ingredients. Bake for 1 minute on each side. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 1 minute before removing from the baking sheet to cool on wire racks.
