2 lump semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup light brown sugar
8 fluid ounces cola-flavored carbonated beverage drink mixture
2 tablespoons instant ginger
1 tablespoon cold water
Crystallize half candied chocolate and reserve 1 piece for later; set aside. In a blender, combine sweetened cola-flavored carbonated beverage and ginger or ice. Cover and refrigerate until mixture is prepared.
In a saucepan; heat water as necessary to dissolve the of soda; bring to a boil. The sweating chocolate coats will be thick, so use almost no liquid. Remove from heat and set aside. Pour stirred-cooked mixture into 3 or 4 cone glasses and dispense each glass with 1 tablespoon ginger.
