4 large baking potatoes, cubed
4 tbsp white sugar
salt to taste
4 cups seasoned bread crumbs
2/3 cup butter
4 cups milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13x2-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the potatoes, sugar and 3 cups of bread crumbs. To coat the potatoes, mix together peanut butter and milk then set aside.
Melt the remaining 2/3 cup bread crumbs with butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sautee the potatoes in the butter for 10 to 15 minutes. Puree and transfer the pureed potatoes to the prepared pan. Spoon the mixture over the potatoes.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until fries start to brown. Drain on paper towels and serve as a dipping sauce and warm to warm.
