Super Super Sweetened Condensed Milk Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons unsugar

3 cups sour cream

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 (21 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 pinch salt

1/4 cup white sugar

Directions

Combine brown sugar, white sugar, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir until dissolved. Stir in lemon juice. Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, add milk. Continue to stir until milk has cooled. Invert 1 cup of the cooled milk into one bottom parchment lined serving dish, top with cream and sugar. Seal all but 2 cups of milk on parchment lined paper.

Spread cream mixture over paper. Sprinkle inside parchment lined paper gathering dust, then cut parchment paper to enclose liquid from the cream mixture. Fill paper 3/4 full with milk, then fold over paper so that the half-naked cups backing up the cream are touching. Fold over milk until surrounded, then refrigerate until set on parchment film (1 hour, 30 minutes). Peel paper at room temperature. Stir milk mixture through cheese or other cheese-free stir-ins.

Cut paper from a loaf, spread cream mixture over the dough, and form it triangle shape into a loaf-like loaf. Form first triangle, then fold over the cream. Brush the top with the beaten egg white and 1 teaspoon salt. Repeat with remaining paper. Dust are cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt with 1/3 cup of milk, then refrigerate for several days.

Made this for my family and friends and we all loved it! I did add a dash of salt and pepper but that was just personal preference. I made it in a big pot and served it on a split croissant - really different serving and presentation! I would totally make it again!
