1/2 cup margarine
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1 (9 inch) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons milk
3 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and cream cheese. Beat in the sugar, egg, water and vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients until just blended. Spoon half of the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
Stir the remaining mixture into the custard mixture, and spread it over the cream cheese layer. Spread the vanilla over the top, then the almond mixture over the top. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
