2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
4 pounds beef roast
2 cups water
1 (15 ounce) can beef broth
In a large saucepan, combine 1 tablespoon olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, rosemary, thyme, beef roast, and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour.
Stir in broth, cover and simmer for about one hour. Steam the meat for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Allow to cool before serving.
