1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
In a large saucepan, bring soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic to a boil in boiling water. Stir in green pepper, oil, and water. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.
Remove pan from heat and stir in sugar. Pour sauce mixture over vegetables and sprinkle with salt.
