2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar, eggs and flour. Stir in the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in the butter or margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, egg and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until set. Cool before serving.
