Pasta and Meat Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package penne pasta

1 (14.5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes

1/4 cup Italian-style seasoning

1/2 cup beer

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup butter

3 onions, chopped

3 green bell peppers, diced

3 tomatoes, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes; drain.

Meanwhile, heat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, combine pasta, tomatoes, tomatoes, salsa and beer. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in meat and tomato sauce. Stir in remaining flour, butter and onion. Simmer, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes.

I submitted this recipe many years ago when I made angel hair spaghetti. It is very easy to make and very pleasant to handle. I didn't initially have spare woodoil but it is so useful for coating. <STANDARDSIDE 5.0 It was delish! I didn't use garlic, i subbed olive oil for the garlic. Thoughts is a divine blend of flavors - mysterious, delicious & thoughtful. Now my family will vie for this mythical sauce.- Karol
