1 (8 ounce) package penne pasta
1 (14.5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1/4 cup Italian-style seasoning
1/2 cup beer
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup butter
3 onions, chopped
3 green bell peppers, diced
3 tomatoes, chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
Meanwhile, heat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan, combine pasta, tomatoes, tomatoes, salsa and beer. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in meat and tomato sauce. Stir in remaining flour, butter and onion. Simmer, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes.
