1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened and spreadable
1 cup dry white wine
4 eggs
1/2 cup Italian-style stewed tomatoes
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/4 teaspoon dried black pepper
Combine cream cheese and white wine in medium saucepan or large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cook mixture for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomatoes, basil, onion, black pepper, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened.
