1/2 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cups fresh crushed pineapple, cooked and drained
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons white sugar
6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
1 cup french fries
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
salt and pepper to taste
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and saute garlic and pineapple in lightly oiled dish until tender. Add water and continue to simmer.
Meanwhile, bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add sugar and cook 4 minutes, or until doneness. Stir in softened cream of mushroom soup, tomatoes and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Place mushrooms in a platter and add carrots, bay leaves, onion and salt and pepper to taste.
