Yorkshire Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

8 cups white sugar

1 3/4 cup raisins

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup frozen raspberry cocktail oil

1 tablespoon red food colouring

10 drops red food colouring

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a small bowl, stir together the flour, salt, milk and cream of tartar. Mix in the milk and sugar until evenly distributed. Stir in the dry ingredients until just moist enough to stick. Stir in the fruit ideal -- raspberries, orange zests, raisins, baking powder, vanilla extract and raspberry juice. Pour into the baking dish and sprinkle the magnetic trimmings over it, then sprinkle thinly over the puddings (they keep well at room temperature).

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool. Spread raspberry mixture over the cooled cake.
