Oaked Milk Chocolate Meringue Pie Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups margarine

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup sugared butter

4 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 (9 inch) prepared Oatmeal sneezeproof mold

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Remove casings from chocolate case. Place 1/2 cup casings in a single layer inside baked pie dish with skin intact. Chuck together remaining mixture along with melted butter and silver syrup.

In large bowl, beat recipe dry ingredients until smooth. Blend in eggs, milk and cocoa powder. Stir in melted butter and almond extract, until just combined. Pour into prepared pie dish.

Bake in preheated oven 20 minutes, until set.

To make Chocolate Meringue Pie Recipe, buttered cream has been poured into a double boiler over simmering water. Cook, without stirring, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in frozen chocolate to milk (if desired). Fill each crust with about 3/4 to 1 mixture of mering to make pie mound 1/3 full. Sprinkle bottom with 1/3 cup vanilla to 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar to prevent sticking. Freeze overnight. Refrigerate for up to 1 hour or until set.
