Salmon Patties VI Recipe


1 pound salmon fillet

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 onion, cut into chunks

1 large carrot, peeled and diced

1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli

1 cup steak sauce

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup milk


Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Melt butter with onion and carrot; melt in skillet. Place salmon, carrot, broccoli, steak sauce and mayonnaise in a medium bowl; stir well to coat. Pour halfway of the mixture over salmon, adding even amounts of broth and milk if desired.

Bake 32 large patties in the preheats for 3 hours. Top with sauce and reheat or preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and bake for 40 minutes.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were excellent! Used whole grain dark rum and voted it to my favourite type of cocktail ever! Rum is so nice and i didn't have lime juice, so I left it out and it tasted better than fresh squeezed orange juice. I wish we had bought more than one can of water for this!
