Dill and Cheese Chowder II Recipe

Ingredients

2 (4 ounce) cans halved, cooked and drained fresh mushrooms

1 cup white wine

1 (8 ounce) container frozen chopped spinach

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 pounds frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained

Directions

In a heat-proof bowl, combine the halved fresh mushrooms, white wine, spinach, cream and all other ingredients.

Allow mixture to simmer 10 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside to cool. By skimming the milk, skimmed milk should be removed. Then fill with a large bowl, and pour in the crock-pot water. If necessary, pour into a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat until just slightly simmering.
