1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 pinch salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, 1/2 cup sugar, pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, egg, nutmeg, and salt. Puree all ingredients, and pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until nuttier and slightly browned.
