It's all or nothing. I made this recipe at the same time as the pizza with roasted corn and also the same result. I thought the crust was great as is and that the sauce was excellent. I actually used chicken sausage because I didn't have 3 cups of chicken stock. I also didn't have 4 cups of whole milk, so I used a little extra to replace the lost fluid. Overall, it's a great sauce to have on hand. I serve this as sauce for turkey sandwiches and it really adds a nice layer of flavor.
