1/2 pound fresh asparagus - coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons butter
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute asparagus until tender. Drain, and set aside.
Saute butter until butter is melted in skillet. Stir in salt, basil, oregano, basil, pepper, thyme, paprika, cayenne and 2 tablespoons butter. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until asparagus is tender, about 15 minutes.
