Chocolate Coconut Frosting Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

2/3 cup confectioners' sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup water

1 (8 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped

1 (3 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (optional)

Directions

Grease an 8x8 inch glass or ceramic dish.

In a medium bowl, stir together butter, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then spread cereal into prepared pan. In small bowl, stir together water and sweetened condensed milk.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Scoop mixture into prepared pan. Line a roasting pan with foil and place 1/2 cup of cereal mixture into pan.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until lightly toasted. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Frost with remaining 1/2 cup of cereal. Cool completely before serving.
