1 pound lean ground beef
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup butter
1/8 cup salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place hamburger in large mixing bowl. Mix together heavy cream, butter, salt, pepper and egg.
Roll the meat 1/4 inch thick, 1/2 inch thick. Cut each roll in half. Place two layers of meat on each roll; roll the edges of the meat over the top, then the sides. Place one roll on a medium baking sheet, fold the entire white sheet over the rolls and place them on the baking sheet. Brush with egg.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
did this recipe justice when it came to rolls especially as thick as I had to make them. I had to make three rolls just to get the 3 rolls I requested and then added 1/2 c chopped walnuts, 1/2 c butter, 1/2 c brown sugar and 1/2 c brownie mix. Oh my!! These rocked!! I passed them out around the house as a treat. Thanks for yet another long and interesting day at work!
