1 (8 ounce) package fresh potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 (8 ounce) package cottage cheese for a flattish crust
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 (8 ounce) container cream cheese, softened
3 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tarts, chilled
1 bunch fresh basil
1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano
3 tablespoons herb bread crumbs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons cooking wine
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lay frozen mashed potato pieces on a large sheet of parchment paper. Spread 1/3 of the mixture over the center of the parchment. Brush with the butter or margarine. Use warmed hands to spread remaining layer of mixture over top of parchment.
Bake 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Turn off oven and allow to cool completely.
While potatoes are cooking, melt butter in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat
