Butter Chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1/4 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 (2.25 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice

1 (8 ounce) can pineapple juice

1 (6 ounce) can sliced almonds

Directions

Place chicken in a large pot with water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove chicken and put on medium heat. Stir in celery and onion, green pepper, cream of chicken soup, pineapple juice and almonds. Continue to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn chicken over and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Cover, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring.
