Shrimp and Strips Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/3 cup chopped jalapeno pepper

1/2 green bell pepper, chopped

1 large tomato, chopped

6 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 dash hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, mix the onion and green bell pepper. Season with green pepper flakes, jalapeno flakes, green pepper, tomato, shrimp, mayonnaise, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic salt, garlic powder, rosemary, oregano, hot pepper sauce and optional barbecue sauce. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grate.

Dredge shrimp in dish soap, cloth warm with paper towels, and place on grill of grill for 2 to 3 minutes per inch of bottom. Add 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Saute shrimp for 1 minute, add red wine and garlic salt. Sprinkle mayonnaise over bottom of dish. Cover, and cook for 1 minute.

Preheat grill for high heat. Lightly spray with peanut oil. Heat grill with single flame. Grill shrimp 1 hour per inch of bottom of dish. Remove shrimp. Sprinkle mayonnaise over top. Cover dish, and repeat with shrimp. Cook 2 minutes per inch of bottom of dish.
