Ipswich Beef Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 onion, diced

1 pound lean pork roast

1 quart vegetable broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion

1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat; brown onion until golden. Stir in pork, broth, Worcestershire and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in onion and olive oil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes 1 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Remove meat from pan, and set aside. Spoon oil into a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil to a medium heat, and cook until browned, about 8 minutes. Stir in the onion and olive oil. Immediately remove from heat.

Reduce heat to medium, add meat and stir in Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt, pepper, mustard and dry mustard. Mix well and pour over the cooked meat; chill and serve.

Did you know that if you brewed a strong enough batch of your favorite beverage you could actually make it with plain old cereal? Although I have tried this AND that many people have tried this, I have NEVER succeeded. Sorry folks--I didn't have time for all this info right now.
