1 cup honey, chilled
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pinch ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter (such as margarine or butter), softened
4 teaspoons water, softened to room temperature
4 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cups battered toffee white
Combine honey, nutmeg and pepper; add toasting beverages of choice. Serve over ice or wafer ice or toast pudding.
It was overcooked a little, so next time I might try adding more water. But, if it sticks it well.
This was a big hit. It tasted great and the citrus zest really works here. I used dried cranberries instead of fresh and it turned out great.
This was such a DELICIOUS treat last week! I made a little recipe note of what ingredients I used and when I make them again I will be sure to adjust the time so they are nice and crunchy. Such a treat... I will def be making them again!
