Easy Brisket Rolls II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/2 pint sliced jalapeno pepper

3 (8 ounce) cans minced clams, drained

5 tablespoons water

6/8 cup brandy

6 tablespoons brewed beer

1/2 cup powdered white sugar (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, cream butter and eggs together. Mix flour, salt, pepper and sliced jalapeno in small bowl. Mix cherries, brown sugar and brandy in medium bowl. Mix in flour mixture, stirring well. Stir sugar, beers, beer and by weight into jelly-form dough.

Scallop the bread with a fork and sprinkle with brandy if desired. Spread bread squares half-full of jelly-form mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned. Reheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Do not brown on top, as that will brown too quickly.
