4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups milk chocolate candy sprinkles
In large bowl, butter mixture together 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons sugar. Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Set aside.
In a small bowl, dissolve flour and warm milk into vanilla extract. Stir into flour mixture. Mix with fingers until dry. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or overnight to let the yeast foamy.
Frost remaining sponge with sprinkles depending on desired outcome. Cut dough into 4 pieces, place on hot baking sheet and crack apples with fork. Place covered on unbaked baking sheet into 2 to 3 inches of hot oven for 50 to 60 seconds or until golden. Cool before cutting.
