Easy, fool-proof and absolutely delicious! I didn't change anything in the recipe, except maybe used a little more bread crumbs.
I made this as is, and there's nothing wrong with it. Just a regular old french toast. I put the cinnamon and cocoa powder in the wrong places, didn't change a thing, and it was still delicious. I served it with a cake at the wedding, and it was much better (and more kid-friendly) than I expected.
This was a HUGE hit at our party! I made half of the recipe and used my butter for the other half. I followed the recipe perfectly and it was the first time I had ever made homemade french toast. I was nervous to make it but it turned out fantastic! My kids asked for it a million times, "What is this thing called?" I didn't get a chance to photograph it but it was absolutely delicious. I will make it again.
