5 pounds bacon, diced
1/4 cup vegan margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat bacon grease on medium-high heat until very thick. Then add about 2 cups of sugar and eggs; stirring until blended. Put mixture in a large, high-sided dish.
Beat margarine, 1 cup at a time, until smooth. Add salt and pepper, stirring all the way through. Though it may be thin, mounds of moistened pork will be huge. Serve warm with hot tea.
