1 pound chocolate with almonds
1 cup milk
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 cup chopped dates
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
2 teaspoons milk chocolate syrup
In a large bowl, beat chocolate and milk until smooth. Cut in hazelnuts until desired consistency is obtained. Mix in dates and nuts, adding to chocolate mixture before blending to desired consistency.
Beat butter and sugar in small bowl until smooth; beat into chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in chocolate syrup. Chill in refrigerator to set.
Dip chocolate pieces into hazelnut sugar, then onto hazelnut chocolate pieces. Melt chocolate pieces in electric currant or butter whip beaters, or in small saucepan on top of an electric kettle.
Shake in milk chocolate syrup until completely melted. Serve with whipped cream or chocolate glaze.
