Coco Cola Chocolate Covered Gingerbread Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 egg, beaten

3 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

2 cups crisp rice cereal

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat in the hot pepper sauce and stir into the creamed mixture. Roll the cookie dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the pepper sauce. Place them in the prepared cookie sheet and sprinkle with walnuts.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until they start to brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
